The €509.17 were raised from the University’s Discover University event, during which a five-kilometre run, a two-kilometre run or walk, a five-km relay in teams of four and an 800m children’s fun run were held. Hospice Malta, which has extended its palliative care services, is now offering end-of-life care and support not only to people suffering from cancer or motor neurone disease, but also to patients with terminal lung, heart and kidney disease. The next edition of the Ring Road Fund Run/Walk and Relay is scheduled for April 13.
