Hosts Raja Casablanca beat CONCACAF champions Monterrey 2-1 in extra-time to reach the Club World Cup semi-finals and send their fans into raptures on Saturday.

Ivorian midfielder Kouko Guehi powered in a header from a corner in the 95th minute. Raja will now play South American champions Atletico Mineiro in the last four on Wednesday.

Raja went ahead on 24 minutes thanks to Chermseddine Chtibi.

The Mexicans levelled in the 53rd minute. Humberto Suazo floated over a free-kick and Jose Maria Basanta headed in at the far post.

Raja got the winner five minutes into extra-time courtesy of Guehi.
