Gozo School of Music students recently performed a violin recital at Il-Ħaġar – Heart of Gozo in St George’s Square, Victoria, accompanied by their teachers Emese Toth and David Lang. The students – Anne Camilleri, Amy Casha, Sione Grima, Eneh Lang, Lara Micallef, Marika Muscat, Adam Refalo, Estelle Scicluna and Chiara Sultana – presented compositions by Dancla, Handel, Komarovski, Mazas, Reiding and Seitz, as well as Irish and Scottish airs. The last in this short but well-received series of weekly mini-recitals at the museum, organised in collaboration with the School of Music and Laudate Pueri Choir, will be held on Saturday at 12.15pm. All are welcome. There is no entrance charge. Photo above shows student Sione Grima with her teacher Mr Lang and top photo shows Adam Refalo with his teacher Ms Toth.
