Pupils from St Francis School, Victoria, took part in a national school crib-making competition for the third consecutive year. Judges visited the school and chose the best entries representing traditional and modern cribs, created from papier mâché or wood. The cribs, together with those made by various schools in Malta, were exhibited at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, last Tuesday. Photo shows assistant head of school Monique Camilleri with the winners chosen from the school, (from left) Samasia Galea Dimech, Ethan Refalo, Kristle Jo Xerri, André Refalo, Simona Refalo, Maria Portelli and Luke Cardona, together with their respective cribs.
