On Monday 9th December 2013, Auxiliary Bishop Mgr. Charles J. Scicluna inaugurated an art exhibition at the Wignacourt Museum, adjacent to St Paul’s Church in Rabat. Fr Martin Micallef, Director of the Home, spoke about the needs of the Home to be able to operate and offer the services it does on a daily basis but also stressed on the need for inclusion of persons with disability in all aspects of life, be they political, social, economical, cultural as well as religious. Also present for the opening were Archbishop Emeritus Mgr Guzeppi Mercieca as well as artists and friends of Id-Dar tal-Providenza.
