Returning on duty for RN Bogliasco after having been in the Malta team in Portugal early in November for the Euro Qualifying Round III, Steve Camilleri was again on target for his Italian team from Genoa with six goals in three matches.

In the first match, against SS Lazio, he scored one of his team’s goals in a 13-7 victory and followed up with a poker in the next match despite Bogliasco’s 13-12 home defeat against RN Savona.

In the other match against Posillipo, which his team lost 12-9, Camilleri again netted a goal to maintain his record of never failing to be among the team’s scorers in 11 matches he played this season for the Italians, including three outings in the knockout.

Bogliasco, eighth in the table, have won three and lost six matches.

Since re-joining the Italian top league club for the sixth successive year, the Maltese player hit 19 goals from 11 league and cup outings in Italy.

November was an impressive month for Camilleri after he scored 17 goals in five matches for Malta in Portugal to make it a total of 25 in nine matches.

Meanwhile, the scoring se-quence was kept up last Saturday when the Maltese player scored in his team’s 10-5 defeat against league leaders AN Brescia.
