A number of chocolate sculptures and cribs are on display in aid of L-Istrina at the Embassy Shopping Complex.

Whoever visits this exhibition can see a full-size replica of a real Harley Davidson Fat Boy and a Spanish Galleon made out of Belgian chocolate. These chocolate sculptures were produced by ITS lecturer Andrew Farrugia and were first exhibited at the Ħamrun Chocolate Festival last October.

At the Embassy Complex, one can also see a number of Christmas cribs of various shapes and sizes made from different media such as cork and polystyrene. These cribs were produced by members from ‘Friends of the crib society’.

This exhibition was inaugurated by Jose Herrera, Parliamentary Secretary for Culture and Local Government when he presented certificates to ITS students who together with Mr Farrugia broke the record for the longest chocolate bar in Malta.

The exhibition remains open December 26 and all donations will be presented to L-Istrina.
