This festive season, indications are that tablets will once again top the list of the gifts bought for Christmas this year. Last year tablets were the hot gift item in many countries, in some instances clinching an increase of 1,000 per cent in sales on the previous years.

The new state-of-the-art Compunet shop in Swatar, Birkirkara, is offering a wide range of tablets for sale starting from just €89.

When you spend more than €25 at the shop you will get a 4GB pen drive for free.

At the Compunet shop you can find more than 1,000 products including PCs, laptops and computer components, software and games, televisions and monitors, visual and audio equipment as well as cameras and mobile phones.

Set up in 1994, Compunet Ltd started off as a vendor of assembled PCs. Today it has become a leading computer and electronics company providing solutions to both home and corporate users. In 2011, Compunet Ltd became part of the 6PM Group.

Compunet Ltd has provided the Group with the infrastructure skills that complement the 6PM IT solution and services offering.

The company’s retail presence has also contributed to diversifying the Group’s portfolio and allowed the Group to tap into the B2C market locally and abroad.

Compunet are partners with Epson printers, Dell computers, Marantz home entertainment systems and Viewsonic TVs and monitors.

From tomorrow until Christmas Eve, the Compunet shop will be open daily between 9am and 7pm.
