What is your most favourite part of Christmas?

Surely the 25th in the morning; it’s always the same ritual and yet I am always so excited. I go downstairs with a video camera and in hand, and wait for the kids to come down and capture their expression whilst unwrapping their presents.

Which is your best Christmas memory of all time?

I was still young but I vividly remember how proud I felt when my brother performed the Christmas Priedka. I was just 12 years old, but I remember feeling involved, worried and anxious for him, probably even more than my parents.

What is the best gift you ever got for Christmas?

It was for the first Christmas after we got married - my husband bought me a Tissot watch, which I treasure.

If you had a magic wand, what would you want for Christmas this year?

A nice snowy holiday. I always work during the Christmas season so I can never go abroad, so the magic wand would have to replace me at work and send me away.

Do you believe in Santa Claus?

Yes I do. I get so caught up planning for Santa’s visit, watching every Christmas film over and over again…just love the idea.

Which is your favourite Christmas song?

“Jiena daqxejn ta’ hmara” - I had to sing it when I was young at Dutrina and I know it by heart.

How will you be spending Christmas this year?

Working on the children section that I will be helping to set up for L-Istrina.  It’s a new concept being introduced this year.  Families are welcome to spend time with their kids in a magical section set up at MCC.  This will allow people to take part in L-Istrina more this year.

What will be your New Year resolutions this year?

To start painting again. 

What is your favourite holiday season food?

Definitely the Christmas log.

I will be working on Istrina and giving my best to create a fun environment for all.
