Fundación Mapfre has launched the 2013 International Social Awards, which recognise individuals or institutions that have made an outstanding contribution for the benefit of society in the scientific, cultural and social aspects.
The Fundación Mapfre social awards are divided into four categories, with each prize amounting to €30,000. These awards are the José Manuel Martínez Award to a lifetime career, the award for best environmental management, the prize for the best act of solidarity and the prize for best action to prevent accidents and damage to health.
Nominations for these awards can be submitted to Fundación Mapfre up to December 15.
Fundación Mapfre is a non-profit organisation, created in 1976 by Mapfre, the largest Spanish insurance group. Middlesea Insurance is a member of the Mapfre Group.
