About 280 children packed the Ambassadors Hall at Castille yesterday to present Prime Minister Joseph Muscat with a consultation document on the selection of a new Children’s Commissioner.

The 44-page document, drafted by student representatives from every school in Malta and Gozo, lists the new commissioner’s qualities, including being of a sympathetic nature and forgiving.

Junior Eurovision song contest winner Gaia Cauchi was also there and was presented with a gift from Social Solidarity Minister Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca.
