Children’s Dreams is a unique online project that aims to fulfil the dreams of children whose families are facing various problems, or are living in care.

The project, led by Lina Pecorella together with Agenzija Appogg follows the footsteps of a similar project in Lithuania.

The website, www.childrendreams.org publishes children’s’ dreams - anything from their wish for a toy or game, to meeting their favourite singer. It then gives the generous Maltese public a chance to personally fulfil them over the Christmas period, thereby making every child’s dream come true.

The details of sponsors will only be provided to the social worker who would then get in touch directly so as to protect confidentiality at all times.

The gift can be sent to the address of Agenzija Appogg that will be provided by the social worker or it can be delivered personally by the sponsor to the same address provided. The gift will be passed on to the carers of the child to be given at Christmas.

Dreams do not necessarily involve brand new items - that bicycle lying unused in your garage, could well be a dream come true for a child this Christmas. So please do check out the website and find out how you can light up a child’s life over this festive season.

For those who want to contribute by spreading the word please do! If you have your own site, blog or FB page, we have uploaded a variety of formats and banners for you to share. The aim is to get the word out there and really fulfil every child’s dream. The project has its own FB page  https://www.facebook.com/childrendreams please like and share!

This project is an independent initiative. The website publishes dreams of children from 2 to 18 years old which can be fulfilled by the 1st January 2014.
