• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the recital of the rosary and Eucharistic benediction.

• The Gozo Bird Breeders Society will be holding a bird show at the Gozo sports complex, Victoria, today from 8am to 7pm.

• Monsters University will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.

• A Christmas bazaar will be held at St Anthony Centre at the convent of the Franciscan friars in Għajnsielem today from 7.30am to noon and from 4 to 7.30pm.

• The next meeting of the Gozo Richmond Foundation Self-Help Group will be held on Tuesday from 5.30 to 7pm at the NGO Centre, l/o Xewkija. The talk will be about preparations for family Christmas festivities. Dinner will be held afterwards.

• The Friends of the Sick and Elderly (Gozo) will hold a charity sale at the football ground near the main car park in Victoria next Sunday from 7.30am to 1pm. The price is €10 for each car space, payable on the day.

• The Gozo Agricultural, Industrial and Cultural Society is organising its annual Christimas exhibition of traditional crafts between Wednesday and next Sunday at the Gozo Ministry exhibition hall at St Francis Square. The exhibition will complement the festivities of the Immaculate Conception which will be celebrated at St Francis church in the same square. Those who wish to take part in the exhibition are to call Simone Grech on 2215 6406 or M’Angelo Camilleri on 2215 6411. Exhibits must be traditional handicraft items or other handmade objects having Christmas as their principal theme. Exhibits are to be submitted by Tuesday between 8.30 and 11.30am and 1.30 to 3.30pm. Entrance is free. Trophies for the best exhibits will be awarded by Gozo Minister Anton Refalo next Sunday at 5.30pm.

• The Gozitan Graduates Movement invites graduates and members of all professions (including couples) for First Friday Mass, on Friday at St Augustine’s church, Victoria, at 8pm. The sacrament of reconciliation will also be available a few minutes earlier.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at St Anthony the Abbott church, Xagħra, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.

• The Bethel Charismatic Group will organise a prayer meeting at the MAS headquarters in Victoria on Saturday at 7pm.

• Centre Dance Academy’s next production in Gozo is Movies in Motion at the Teatru Astra, Victoria, on Saturday. The show is directed and choreographed by Natalie Sciortino. Tickets cost €15 each and bookings can be made by calling 7920 0488, 2156 5620 or 2156 5167.

• Fontana marks the feast of St Andrew the Apostle today with a concelebrated Mass led by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech at 3.45pm. A procession with the statue of St Andrew, led by Mgr Rosario Ġużeppi Borg, with the participation of St Margaret Band, begins at 4.45pm.

• A car boot sale takes place today from 7am until midday at the Marsalforn car park, organised by the Arka Foundation, Għajnsielem. Everyone is welcome to take part to sell any unwanted items or bric-a-brac while buyers are invited to hunt for bargains. Sellers will be asked to make a donation to the Arka Foundation.
