As a company at the forefront of environmental promotion, Citadel’s staff not only took part in Car Free Day by car-sharing, catching the bus, walking or using the ferries, but they also used the money they saved as a donation to the Hospice Movement.
This is not the first time that Citadel Insurance has shown its commitment to a better environment, as it also held a number of activities on World Environment Day in June. Citadel, which is regulated by the MFSA, also offers Eco Insurance, which has been designed to give advantageous discounts, rewarding clients who drive hybrid, electric cars, or cars having low Co2 emissions and those having a solar water heater, or a PV system installed at their home.
Citadel is also committed to philanthropic aid. This year, it has presented a donation to Tiny Infant Parent Support and also sponsored a holiday for two children at St Joseph’s Home and travel insurance for sick persons travelling to Lourdes.
