Labour MEP candidate Miriam Dalli has launched her electoral campaign, using the slogan Priority Malta.

She said her priorities include job creation, irregular immigration, affordable energy, EU funding and better allocation of the EU budget, youths and less bureaucracy for businesses.

Her candidature was endorsed by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat who said he believed Dr Dalli’s abilities and qualities could be used for the benefit of Malta and the Labour Party.

Dr Muscat emphasised that the European Parliament elections were a tough test for the government, since past experience showed that no party in government managed to win these elections.

However, he emphasised that he firmly believed that with candidates like Dr Dalli, there was a clear possibility that the Labour Party would get a
positive result.

“I believe that Miriam Dalli can be an extremely good representative,” he stated.
