Ta’ Nikol art gallery is a new creative space that has recently opened in Victoria. Featuring distinctive ink and charcoal drawings, contemporary paintings and photography by the two creative people behind the project, British artist Oliver Cook and German photographer Lisa Gast, the gallery will also host work of other artists from time to time.

With a non-pretentious, relaxed and informal atmosphere, the small gallery displays a unique variety of subjects, from Gozitan and international landscapes and street scenes to portraits, figures and aviation and military subjects. With a mix of originals and prints and a wide price range, Ta’ Nikol offers art that is accessible and appeals to both the casual tourist wanting to pick up a unique memento of their trip as well as savvy art buyers looking for something unique and special.

Cook also produces drawings and paintings to commission, while Gast offers to take photo shoots for weddings, pregnancies, newborns and children.

The gallery is located at 43, Triq Mons. Ġużeppi Farrugia, Victoria, just a few metres from St George’s Square and the basilica.

The opening hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 12.30pm and 4 to 6pm, and on Saturdays from 9am to 12.30pm.
