Diversity – in Trend, a fashion show portraying diversity and inclusion and highlighting that labelling should be restricted to merchandise and not people, took place at the Xara Lodge in Rabat.
Models from Modelle International, members of the Equal Partners Foundation and their friends and siblings showcased the latest collections by Monsoon, Wee Ones, Marks & Spencer, Punt Roma, Aldo and designer Luisa Diacono’s hand-crafted shawls.
The mixture of people from different paths in life, with different backgrounds and different hurdles to overcome, was the way to send a message: that society should embrace diversity not shy away from it. The message was that beauty is not static or uniform but a colourful assortment of diverse people who are not restricted by labels and who are treated equally.
Equal Partners members displayed clothes from the various collections, proving that diversity is beauty and beauty is never out of fashion.
