The Church said today that 1,733 places are available at its schools in the next scholastic year.

Applications will be received in various schools between this month and February.

For this year only, boys will also be admitted in years three and six of primary school.

The places are as follows: First year kinder, 98 boys and 115 girls.

Second year kinder, 107 boys and 280 girls.

First year primary, 439 boys and 249 girls.

Year three primary, 75 boys.

Year six primary, 75 boys.

Form I: 259 boys and 36 girls.

Total: 1053 boys and 680 girls.

Some places are reserved for children in serious humanitarian cases who will file a different application.

Applications for children in Church Homes, siblings of pupils already in the schools applied for, children of school employees, transfers and schools without continuity will be received between November 25 and 27 at St Elias College in Sta Venera, St Joseph School Paola, St Michael’s Sta Venera and the Seminary in Rabat. 

Other applications for entry in kindergarten will be received on February 17, 18 and 24 at the Seminary in Rabat, St Angela Msida, St Francis Msida and Theresa Nuzzo Zejtun.

Applications for year two kinder will be received on February 3,4, and 11 at St Angela Msida, and Zabbar, St Francis Msida, St Joseph Blata l-Bajda and St Aloysius College in Birkirkara.

Applications for year one of primary will be received on January 27 and 28 and February 3 at De La Salle, Vittoriosa, the Seminary in Rabat; the MSSP in Rabat, St Albert in Valletta and St Aloysius.

Applications for the third year primary will be received on January 27 and 28 and February 3 at St Augustine College in Pieta,

Application for year six will be received on January 20, 21 and 27 also at St Augustine’s.

Applications for Form I will be received on January 20, 21 and 27 at De la Salle, the MSSP, St Albert’s, St Elias and St Michael.
