The political think-tank Fondazzjoni IDEAT has launched an initiative to encourage more women to take part in politics.

People were invited to participate in a competition where the participants send their suggestions on how women can have better success in local elections, both national and European, in coming years.

Eight women were chosen to form a panel of judges to participate in a training course in Brussels next December on the initiative of MEP Claudette Abela Baldacchino.
