BONELLO. On November 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH GP of Tal-Ibraġ, Managing Director at Financial Planning Services Ltd, aged 69, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his family. Greatly missed by his most beloved wife Antoinette, née Buttigieg, his much loved and cherished children – his son Matthew, his daughter Elaine and her very special husband Jonathan Chetcuti, and his very precious grandchild Gigi, his sisters Sr Inez of the Salesians of Don Bosco and Jacqueline and her husband Paul England, his in-laws and their spouses, Hector and Monica Chetcuti, nephews and nieces, other relatives, clients, friends and colleagues of the financial services community. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2pm for Tal-Ibraġ parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Naxxar cemetery. Donations to the Poor Clares Sisters, St Julians, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MICALLEF. On November 7, at his residence in Valletta, CARMELO (Menu) of Valletta, widower of Rosina, aged 96, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss Mary, widow of his son Lino, his children MaryRose and her husband Frans, Vince and his wife Carmen, George, widower of Carmen, Mario and his wife Nathalie, Pauline, Tanya and her husband Paul and Joe and his wife Lucia, his grand­children, great-grandchildren, his brother Frankie, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves his residence today at 1.30pm for St Paul Shipwrecked Collegiate parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġ­ġiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
