The latest 2012 vintage Grand Vin de Hauteville Moscato, Malta’s only DOK Liqueur wine, will soon be released from the Delicata winery.

The award-winning sweet dessert wine weighs in with a robust 15 per cent alcohol. This rich, opulent wine is made from 100 per cent Malta-grown Moscato grapes grown in selected family-run vineyards. It is a relative newcomer to the Delicata wine portfolio and has only been around for just over two years.

The previous vintage, which has recently run out of stock, won a bronze medal at the Challenge International du Vin in Bordeaux, France, earlier this year.

The Grand Vin de Hauteville premium range of wines, which consists of a Viognier, an oak-aged Chardonnay, a Cabernet Sauvignon, a Shiraz Cabernet and the Moscato, is Malta’s most awarded wine brand, having won 18 international awards over the years, including gold and silver honours in Bordeaux, Burgundy and London.
