Air Malta flights did not experience “abnormal” passenger no-shows as a result of the severe storms in the UK, an airline spokesman said.

The carrier operated two flights to and from Heathrow and one to and from Gatwick yesterday.

A delay of one hour was experienced on the morning flight to Heathrow. The other flights were on schedule.

About 15 people, including a Maltese person, did not show up on the morning return flight from Heathrow.

An airline spokesman said this number of no-shows was not abnormal for the Heathrow flight.
