Air Malta has launched its winter schedule running up to end of March.

During this season, the airline plans to operate more than 100 weekly flights and carry over half a million passengers to and from Malta. Customers are being offered a choice of 26 scheduled destinations and connections and services to major European gateways.

“This winter we have increased substantially our frequencies on Russia and will operate three weekly flights on a charter basis to Israel. We have also revised our code share agreements to offer a wider range of destinations as well as enhance flight connections to Malta from destinations beyond our network”, chief commercial officer Philip Saunders said.

Air Malta will be operating direct flights to/from: Amsterdam, Athens, Benghazi, Berlin, Brussels, Catania, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Istanbul, London (Gatwick and Heathrow), Manchester, Milan, Moscow (Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo), Munich, Paris (Charles de Gaulle and Orly), Rome, Sofia, Tripoli, Vienna and Zurich. The airline will also be operating intra-European flights between Amsterdam and Brussels, Catania and Munich as well as between Athens and Sofia.

It will be retaining code-share agreements offering more connectivity with destinations beyond its network.
