Where: Sky Club, Paceville
When: October 26 from 10pm

Wearing sunglasses at night may seem daft to the more practical souls among us, but you’ll need them at Sky Club on October 26 if you don’t want to be blinded by hellfire.

DJ Ruby and Joseph Armani will be among the stellar DJs who will guide guests into oblivion at the newly refurbished Paceville mega club, which will be decked out with suitably macabre decor for the evening. The clocks go back at 3am, providing revellers with a phantom hour to continue partying.

As well as the obligatory sunglasses, spooky costumes are strongly encouraged.

Event: Teo’s Twisted Trivia: Halloween Special

When: October 27 from 9pm

A new quiz master – or should that be dungeon master? – has taken over Coach and Horses’ popular trivia night, and he will be going for the jugular in his first appearance with a Halloween theme.

Teams of up to seven people will engage in an intellectual duel to the death, with the winners claiming the dubious spoils of “drinks and freebies”.

Devil-bearded host Teodor Reljic has vowed that cheaters will be shown no mercy. If you are foolish enough to consult your smartphone, you risk spending the rest of eternity Googling answers to frivolous questions in an underground cell.

Organisers advise teams to book their tables in advance through the pub’s Facebook page or by e-mailing creativeislandmalta@gmail.com.
