A Zejtun man got so fed up of his neighbour's dog peeing on his front door that he took to throwing his own urine on the neighbour's door and car, a court heard this morning.

The court heard that the problem went back to 2010 when a man filed a police report about how his neighbours were not keeping their dog in check.

With no police action having apparently been taken, he took it upon himself to collect his own urine in a cup, which he then threw at his neighbour's door and car every day.

The irate neighbour installed CCTV cameras, filmed the urine-throwing and handed the CD to the police.

He said that cooking oil had also been thrown as his door and his car.

His neighbour told the court that he knew about the CCTV, but wanted to protest.

Both neighbours went taken to court by the police and accused of violation of the Litter Act and harassment.

The Magistrate warned both households not to molest each other any more.

Nothing was said about the dog.
