University students Claire Testa, Natasha Zarb and Norbert Bonnici recently took part in educational tours of Brussels after their success in recent National Students Travel Foundation science competitions.

Testa and Zarb placed second in the Malta Student Science Forum and Bonnici came first in the National Contest for Young Scientists.

During their visit to Brussels the students toured the Natural History Museum, including the dinosaur gallery. They also visited Technopolis, a permanent platform for science and technology, in the Flemish Mechelen.

The students also met European Health Commissioner Tonio Borg, who spoke to them about the responsibilities under his portfolio, including health and food quality.
