Country manager for Microsoft Malta and Cyprus Adrianna Zammit met Prime Minister Joseph Muscat during Freshers’ Week on campus at the University.

Ms Zammit outlined Microsoft’s commitment to youths and explained how once again Microsoft Malta was supporting higher education students through the availability of Office 365 University and the new Windows 8 platform.

As part of Freshers’ Week, Microsoft has collaborated with some major retailers in Malta to offer higher education students a range of discounts and benefits, such as advantageous rates on Office 365 University, discounts on Windows 8 laptops and free software with Nokia Lumia smartphones.

Microsoft’s Office 365 University introduces students to the benefits of the latest Office, including SkyDrive’s cloud storage, a more touch-friendly design that works with tablets and touchscreen laptops and an interesting array of collaborative tools.

Students sign in with their Microsoft account, access their personal files from wherever and use the latest versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher and Access to store, edit and share documents online with an additional 20 GB of SkyDrive storage.
