Passenger strips and is tasered after flight from Malta

An EasyJet passenger was tasered after he stripped naked and challenged the pilot to a fight following a flight from Malta, the Daily Mirror has reported.

The burly, bald 51-year-old Briton also urinated against a wall at the terminal building in Manchester and got a slap across the face from his female companion

The man removed his clothes on the tarmac as he disembarked from the aircraft.

The newspaper said the trouble started  mid-flight when the man, who appeared drunk, became abusive and started swearing at fellow passengers.

The captain tried to calm him down.

The man put his clothes back on before entering Terminal One, where police arrived.

They tried to control him but resorted to using a ‘dry’ Taser – where the gun is held against the target to cause shock and pain – when he refused to co-operate.

He was then arrested and escorted from the airport.
