Jurors on the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial say Conrad Murray's ethics were not a focal point of the case.

The jurors in Los Angeles cleared concert promoter AEG Live in a wrongful death lawsuit brought by the family of Michael Jackson.

The verdict found that doctor Conrad Murray, who was hired by the company- was not unfit for his job.

Murray is currently in jail convicted of involuntary manslaughter after administering a lethal dose of drugs to Jackson that ended up killing him.

The prosecution alleged AEG Live had negligently hired Murray as Jackson's doctor. Jurors on the trial said their decision was based on Murray's competence, not his ethics.

Jackson was 50 years old when he died in 2009.
