The Judiciary has criticised proposals by the Justice Reform Commission for reform of the Commission for the Administration of Justice, saying they would weaken the commission by reducing its functions and its powers, whereas the task of the commission was to strengthen it.

In comments on the second report by the commission, the Judiciary expressed cautious agreement with a number of proposed changes in the laws of procedure and administrative reforms.
