Double Trap shooters William Chetcuti and Nathan Lee Xuereb, along with coach Jimmy Bugeja, have arrived in Lima, Peru ahead of their participation in the ISSF World Championships.

Around 400 shooters from 55 countries, including 120 juniors, will be competing in this prestigious ISSF event.

Chetcuti, winner of a gold medal at the Mediterranean Games, will take part in the Double Trap seniors category while Xuereb, who last month clinched the European juniors title in Germany, will be vying for success in the junior section.

The Double Trap competitions start on Friday with the first five rounds of 30 clays each. The top six shooters qualify for the semi-finals and medal matches.
