After a summer break, The Zone will resume uploading video interviews of young people talking about their careers, talents, social life and fashion at www.timesofmalta.com/thezone. Tomorrow, two new interviews will be uploaded on the following:

You often hear young boys saying they want to become firemen when they grow up, and somewhere along the way that dream seems to vanish, but not for Timothy Willie.

He has always wanted to become a firefighter and he is now a proud one at that.

What inspires him about the job is the fact that he is seen as a hero, saves lives, and others depend on his strength, courage and dedication to rescue them.

But what does the profession of working as a fireman involve? Not just putting out a fire, as you will find out when you watch his interview this week on The Zone.

Be heard and share your own experiences with others. Tell them about your career choice, what it takes to get where you are, the ups and downs you go through, and offer advice to people still uncertain about what they want to do. To be interviewed for The Zone, send an e-mail with a brief description of your career, talent or a social issue you would like to discuss. Alternatively, you can send your own video. Send a low-resolution version of your file to thezone@timesofmalta.com.
