Photo: Matthew GrechHard Rock Cafe Malta has launched the Legendary Burger, which is being offered on the menu at the Valletta Waterfront and Bay Street.
The company recently called on its local kitchen team to suggest recipes for a new burger.
Hard Rock Cafe shortlisted three new recipes and solicited fans to nominate one, based on taste, presentation and Maltese authenticity.
Chris Farrugia Potter was chosen for his Legendary Burger recipe, while Claudio Stagno, a customer who tasted the burger, won a party for six in one of the restaurants after his name was drawn by lot.
“Hard Rock Cafe Malta is thrilled to be part of a world-renowned franchise, present in 54 countries and 138 cafes to date,” said sales and marketing manager Adolf Vella during an event held at the Hard Rock Bar Malta at the Valletta Waterfront.
“We are the official food of rock, but also the official food of the world. However, we have at heart Malta’s own talents and flavours,” he concluded.
