The decision to take the bendy buses out of service was a good one, as the lives of persons could have been at risk.
Unknowingly, this decision has also had another effect and that is that drivers who frequent the roads in Sliema and St Julian’s were handed a reprieve. It was actually much easier to drive, the traffic jams that we had all got used to were practically non-existent and one got to his or her destination much quicker.
Possibly, now, the authorities would consider going for smaller buses, which are more suitable for our roads.
Time will tell!
