I needed to use Arriva to go to the MFCC in Ta’ Qali for the Malta International Trade Fair. I therefore called customer care and from St Paul’s Bay all they could offer me was a 41 or 42 bus to Birkirkara and then a 106 in Naxxar Road, which only runs every hour on the hour. This means that if you miss it you have to wait for one hour for the next one. Not very convenient.

I was at a bus stop, Mary, in Triq Mosta, St Paul’s Bay at 6.45pm. A bus was due at 7.04pm. By 7.15pm it had not turned up, so I called customer care for an update and was told it should arrive at 7.24. However, by 8pm neither the 41 nor the 42 bus had arrived. This left me with only one option and that was to abort my trip.

Thank you, once again, for an inefficient bus service.
