Wizz Air will continue to operate its Budapest-Malta route this winter.

In its announcement, Wizz Air said it will operate every Saturday between Malta and Hungary’s capital city this winter.

Winter bookings can now be made on wizzair.com, with one-way fares starting from €29.99, including taxes.

The low-cost Hungarian airline began operating its Budapest-Malta route in May.

Daniel de Carvalho, corporate communications manager at Wizz Air, said: “Budapest is not only a great destination for a summer holiday but is also an attractive winter city break.

“Maltese travellers can enjoy Hungary’s world-class hot springs in the snow; dental and health care services, as well as renowned gastronomy and wineries.

“Shopping is also a great experience in Budapest, with the highlight of one of the best Christmas markets in Europe.”
