Local bathroom sanitary ware and ceramic tile retailer Bathroom Design inaugurated the new refurbished floor of its Birkirkara showroom with a launch event, attended by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and Luitwin Gisbert Von Boch, an eighth-generation family member and member of the supervisory board of international brand Villeroy and Boch.

The two guests, along with Bathroom Design owner David Camilleri, spoke about the nature of affiliations between major international brands and local importers and retail businesses.

Mr Boch described this kind of business relationship as being “like a marriage”. He thanked Mr Camilleri for their 28 years in business and noted that Villeroy and Boch had always been careful in selecting their business partners.

Mr Camilleri said it was thanks to the continued backing of leading firms such as Villeroy and Boch that Bathroom Design has been able to maintain its steady business and strong reputation for three decades.

The refurbishment coincides with Bathroom Design’s 30th year in business as one of Malta’s leading bathroom suppliers.
