OBITUARY
ALOISIO. On June 20, at her residence, MARY ANNE, née Vella, of Safi, aged 55, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her most beloved husband Robert, her treasured and only son Andy and his fiancée Beverly, her dear mother Josephine Vella, her siblings Paul and Tania, Margaret and Louis Schembri, Claire and Elton Busuttil, her nephews and nieces, Dr Sarah Schembri, Emma, Paula, Kurt, Nicole, Martina, Aiden, Ashley, Andrew and Alessandro, her in-laws Josephine Aloisio, Miriam and Patrick Rizzo, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. The funeral leaves her residence today for St Paul’s parish church, Safi, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 4pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Safi cemetery. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, or to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Mary Anne, you deserve to rest in peace after bravely battling your illness in silent perseverance for 23 long years. We will love and miss you forever. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
ATTARD. On June 18, VIRGINIA (Gina), née Bugeja, aged 87, widow of Joseph Paul, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Corinne and her husband Charles, Richard and his wife Tania, Steven and his wife Carmen, Marice and her husband Ray, her grandchildren Nadine and her husband Karl, Karl and his wife Luisa, Nikki, Pippa, Julienne, Zack, Emma, and Sara, her great-grandchildren, her sisters Rose Sapienza and Lina Mamo, her bothers Paul and his wife Maria, Andrew and Anthony, her in-laws Maryrose and Bill, nephews, nieces, otherrelatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8.30amfor the Immaculate Conception parish church, Tal-Ibraġ, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. The family would like to thank the nurses and carers at Roseville, Attard. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
GAUCI. On June 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROBERT of Ħamrun, aged 74, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreparable loss his beloved wife Doris, his daughter Ruth and her husband Albert Mangion, his son Colin and his wife Melanie, his grandchildren Abigail, Kyle and his fiancée Jenny and Daniel, his beloved great-grandson Giorgio Perotti, his sisters Josephine and her husband Harry Zammit Cordina, Jenny Adams and her partner Mike Done and his brother Charles and his wife Basha, his uncle Alfred Zarb and his wife Therese, his in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and his numerous friends from the RAF Association, The Royal British Legion and the San Gejtanu Band Club, Ħamrun. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30am for St Cajetan parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
