A customer service review of the animal hospital Centru San Frangisk will go ahead despite an official letter filed in court to stop the review from being held, the Animal Rights Parliamentary Secretariat said in a statement.

The secretariat said that the official letter was filed in the first hall of the Civil Court by Trevor Zammit, the current operator of the hospital.

It said that in his letter, Mr Zammit held the Parliamentary Secretary responsible for any damages he may suffer.

The secretariat said it felt the operation of the centre was a matter of public and national interest and public consultation through the review will continue.
