Relations between Malta and the Sicilian town of Enna were discussed during an official meeting between Speaker Anġu Farrugia and the town’s mayor Paolo Garofaro.

Calling the meeting “historic”, a government statement said that Dr Farrugia underlined the importance of developing parliamentary relations on a regional level between Malta and Enna.

Dr Farrugia was reciprocating a visit to Malta’s Parliament by the Enna mayor last month.
