Hand in Hand (Malta), in conjunction with Counselling Solutions (UK), will be offering a two-day introductory course on art on September 28 and 29, intended for practitioners who have little or no experience on the use of art as a therapeutic tool. The course will combine theory, skills and experiential exercises.

The aim of the weekend is to give participants an understanding of the theory and practice of art as a creative medium to be used with clients in therapy as a means of expression which can reflect one’s own emotional landscape.

This training is ideal for professionals who work therapeutically with clients, including psychologists, psychiatrists, play therapists, social workers, counsellors and anyone else who wishes to know more about the use of this creative medium.

Training will be delivered by Karen O’Neill from the UK and Jacqueline Abela DeGiovanni.

A 10 per cent early bird discount will be given for bookings before August 16. Places are limited.
