5pm He meets girls who attend Catechism lessons at the Sliema (Sacro Cuor) parish office as part of his pastoral visit.

6pm He meets the catechists at the Sacro Cuor parish office.

11am The Archbishop takes part in the ceremony of the presentation of the Pope John XXIII award at the Palace, Valletta.

4.30pm He meets members of the Lourdes parish (Paola) Pastoral Parish Council for consultation about the new parish priest.

10am The Archbishop meets members of the National Council of the Elderly at the Curia.

11am He receives a courtesy call from The Priests singers at the Curia.

8pm He attends a dinner hosted by the Ambassador of the Order of St John Umberto Di Capua.

7pm The Archbishop presides over the Sacro Cuor Parish Assembly at the parish church in Sliema.

8.45am The Archbishop presides over a meeting of the Episcopal Conference and the Council of Religious Major Superiors at his residence, Attard.

4.30pm He presides over a meeting of the Diocesan Finance Council at the Curia.

7.30pm He attends a concert by The Priests at the Catholic Institute, Floriana.

9am The Archbishop meets the provincial and delegate of the Superior General of the Sisters of Missionaries of Charity at the Curia.

9.30am He presides over the Diocesan Pastoral Council at the Curia.

5.45pm He leads the translation of relic and vespers and celebrates Mass at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, on the feast of St John the Baptist.

6.30pm He leads the procession and celebrates Pontifical Mass at St John’s Co-Cathedral on the feast of St John.

8pm He attends a reception by the Order of St John.

6pm The Archbishop leads a concelebrated Mass on the inauguration of Fr Arthur Cutajar, OFM Conv., as new parish priest of St Paul’s Bay parish.
