On the occasion of the official launch of the new company, Allcare Insurance is introducing two new policies, namely the Global Residents Health Insurance Policy and Petcare Policy.

With hundreds of devoted pet lovers in Malta, Allcare is the first company to offer pet owners the possibility of taking up pet insurance cover.

“We have been working on the policy since last February this year. Besides having identified a demand in the market that, to date, has not been catered for, this is a policy that has been driven home by one of our directors, a proud owner of a number of dogs,” said Allcare Insurance Ltd director Simon Schembri.

The new Allcare petcare policy provides an extensive range of benefits, including cover for veterinary fees, advertising and reward costs in the case a pet is lost, boarding or pet-minding fees in case a pet owner needs to be hospitalised, holiday cancellation fees in case a pet needs treatment, third party liability, burial costs and an optional overseas pet travel cover.

“The Petcare Policy is designed to provide pet owners with peace of mind to provide for unforeseen costs,” said Dr Schembri.

The Global Residents Health Policy is designed to cater for health insurance requirements of foreigners choosing to take up residence in Malta.

Allcare Insurance Ltd is authorised by the Malta Financial Services Authority to transact all classes of non-life insurance business.
