Robbing the dead

Through life, one encounters, on many an occasion, certain shameful acts but my recent experience surpasses all others.

My dear mother passed away this week and was laid to rest in the family grave at the Addolorata Cemetery. This experience is already unbearable.

Just imagine the hurt when, visiting her resting place three days later, I find that the many flowers covering her grave had been stolen by some heartless person/s and the grave was left bare, without even a single flower.

Shame and shame on whoever committed such a scandalous act. There are no words to describe such thieves!

Do they realise the severity of their disgraceful act towards the dead and their relatives?!
