Young Reporter of the Environment competition
Interview with winner, Sephora Scicluna
Nature Trust (Malta) has given great importance to environmental education for the past few years, giving an opportunity to schools to practice sustainable development.
As part of their endeavours Young Reporter of the Environment is a programme designed specifically for secondary and post secondary students.
The main aim is to carry out investigations on local environmental issues and propose solutions through investigative reporting and photojournalism. The goal of YRE is to engage youth in resolving environmental problems and issues.
In this year's competition, the winner who also achieved third place among international participants, is 14-year-old Sephora Scicluna.
Watch the interview and see what inspired Sephora to do her own video report.
