Fejn sejra? (Where are you going?) was the title of a two-hour reflection event for Gozitan women, organised jointly by the Catholic Action Movement and the Diocesan Family Commission at John Paul Institute (Cana Centre) in Victoria.

The programme started with hymns and the reading of extracts from the Scripture by Mario Caruana and Pauline Bezzina, followed by a presentation by sociologist Fr Noel Saliba, former leader of a parish and currently secondary school head. He gave a detailed overview of the current situation with regards to Gozitan women, based on statistics and research.

The second speaker, University lecturer Anna Vella explained her experiences as a mother and doctor involved in the voluntary sector, showing that solutions are possible when there is a will and an active mind.
