Italian Ambassador Giovanni Umberto De Vito recently visited San Andrea School, L-Imselliet, during the school’s International Day where he met teachers and students who, since 2010, have been taking part in a multicultural education project with Italian and other foreign students, to promote multilingualism, Italian culture and cultural exchange between students of various nationalities. He also met students who have chosen to study Italian as a foreign language, and presented a €8,000 grant to the school offered by the Italian Government to promote the Italian language. He is seen with teachers at the Italy stand during the International Day.
