This year marks the 100th anniversary of the International Eucharistic Congress, and the Innu Ewkaristiku was written by Dun Karm Psaila, with music by Mro Ġużeppi Caruana, especially for the event. In Malta, the anthem is more popularly known as Nadurawk Ja Ħobż tas-Sema.

This anniversary has inspired a brand new anthem, Dija tad-Dinja, which was written and composed by Fr George Ocar Buttiġieġ.

The song was recorded at Tone Studios by Andrew Zammit, and features five vocalists, namely Zammit himself, Andrew Cauchi, Leana Papagiorcopulo, Jurgen Scicluna and Tiziana Grech.

The production was supported by the Communications Office of the Pastoral Secretary of the Curia along with the Ċentru Animazzjoni Komunikazzjoni, ĊAK.

The new anthem was aired publicly for the first time during the Holy Week by RTK, Radju Marija and various other stations. However, the official launch was held last Friday during the Year of Faith celebration by Archbishop Paul Cremona.

The song will be available as from tomorrow from RTK and Radju Marija against a donation of €5, with all proceeds going to Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi.
