The Mdina Ditch Project has been selected by an international Jury for the European Garden Heritage Network’s European Garden Award as one of three finalists in the category Innovative Contemporary Concept or Design of a Park or Garden.

The other finalists are the Floor Work Park in Switzerland and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park of the UK.

The EGHN is a non profit organisation set up to foster transnational co-operation in regional development and cultural heritage.

It brings together garden experts, government services, foundations, and tourism agencies to preserve, develop, and promote gardens of historic interest within north-western Europe.
