The police have arrested two Libyan men, a Maltese man and a Maltese woman as part of investigations into the trafficking of heroin.

The three men were apprehended in Marsa yesterday shortly before heroin found in the bag of one of the Libyan men was to be trafficked.

The woman, who like the other Maltese is from Marsa, was arrested later.
